Chameo BV is endeavoring, where possible and economically reasonable, to comply with a good environmental policy. This means that we work environmentally sensitive with different types of products and processes. Chameo wants to contribute to sustainability of society and thus gives substance to this social responsibility.
The main objective of our environmental policy is therefore 'effectively controlling and reducing the burden on the environment'. Concern for the environment is an integral part of our business. A vironmental coördinator is appointed within the company. This coördinator is responsible for the preparation and implementation of the environmental action plan. Key points in the environmental action plan are:
| Start at the source | This means that we make strong demands on the environmental impact of the materials used by us and our suppliers before the supplies can enter the chain. |

| Care in handling | When processing our material, we will check what is being done with it. Where possible, we will incorporate the waste products into a product residue and otherwise it will be disposed responsibly. |

| Properly applied and cleaned | Through advice to the user, we provide a sustainable use of the right products. Through a well-used service, the products will reach the optimal lifetime. |

| Recycling after use | Through our return system we can provide a controlled, responsible disposal, where our goal is to recycle or to use the materials in other products. |
